This Saturday morning I felt like baking something delicious for breakfast. Five very ripe bananas were resting on the kitchen table and needed to be used so I decided to try out a vegan banana bread for the first time. I used a basic recipe from the internet and exchanged some ingredients for my preferable ones and also added some extra goodies. It turned out so well that I wanted to share it with you here.
What you need
5 ripe bananas
(I used coconut sugar and maple syrup)
10g baking powder
cinnamon, vanilla, vegan chocolate
The recipe is super simple and easy. First, you mix 4 bananas, the oil, and sugar together in a bowl. It works best if you use a masher, it makes it easy to blend everything together. Next, you add the flour, baking powder, and cinnamon plus vanilla. I also chopped some vegan chocolate and added it as well. Then you just need to preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celcius, put the dough into a baking form and add one banana sliced into two pieces on top together with some more chocolate sprinkles. The banana bread has to bake in the oven for about 50 minutes. Then is ready to enjoy!
